The School Director is a strong leader with a proven track record of meeting performance goals. Must have at least 5 years experience in proprietary schools.

The School Director is the quarter back and manager of the entire campus team, including the directors of placement, education, admissions and financial aid. It is up to the School Director to orchestrate the meeting of all performance goals. In additions, the School Director must be thoroughly familiar with default management techniques, whether it’s the school’s policy to perform default management internally or outsource this most important area to a default management company. Default management is an integral part of a school’s operation, and the director must be thoroughly familiar with forbearance/deferral techniques to reduce default rates.

The director should know how to put together a budget plan and then track performance against plan. Hiring department directors, motivating, and training them is a key job requirement.

The Regional School Director, sometimes known as Vice President/Chief Operating officer, is responsible for multiple-campus operations.

Candidate should know about:

Local Job Market.

Electronic media, direct response, referral programs, etc.

Retention, placement, motivation of staff, training.

Default management, regulatory audits.

Budget preparation and tracking.

Compliance with corporate reporting requirements for branch performance.

Excellent networking ability to attract and hire branch management personnel

Incentives based upon school profits, compliance audits and other related performance factors.
