Director of Financial Aid

POSTSECONDARY PROPRIETARY SCHOOL

The Financial Aid Director is a strong manager with proven capability in managing all aspects of a financial aid department. Must have at least 5 years experience in proprietary schools. The DFAID must be thoroughly familiar with packaging techniques, and should be able to evaluate the financial aid officer’s work regarding thoroughness. The DFAID works very closely with the Education and Admissions Departments to ensure that the student has been "packaged" properly. The DFAIF must be thoroughly knowledgeable in the latest updates by the USDOE and other applicable regulatory agencies. The DFAID should have experience in conducting workshops for financial aid representatives regarding the latest techniques for packaging, etc.

Candidate Requirements:

• USDOE policies and procedures, default management requirements
• Auditing/Compliance issues. In service training programs.
• Effective packaging techniques.
• Hiring, training and motivating Financial Aid officers.
